About the house
The Bruny Island Weekender was designed to our brief by Hobart architect Maria Gigney and built for us by Colin Bickmore of Bruny Island Builders.

The accommodation is in two pavilions, joined by a large, private, covered deck. The front pavilion has two bedrooms (a queen and a twin) with a shared ensuite (including indoor shower with a view) between. The other pavilion has a stainless steel galley kitchen, dining table and indoor/outdoor dining chairs. The comfortable living area has a TV/DVD, leather lounge and armchairs, with water and bushland views from the expansive windows. The living pavilion has a heat pump and there are panel heaters in the bedrooms. As well as the bath on wheels and the outdoor shower, the deck has a gas barbecue.

You're on holiday, so you don't need a phone landline, computer or internet access - but Telstra mobile phone reception is OK.
